they have open MRIs
most hospitals have open MRIs now.
and you usually use open MRIs for heads, closed ones are usually just used for leg/body, but those can also be done on an open MRI.

I watched an MRI scan today. It was a head one.
the images are so neat.

i had an mri when i broke my sternum. i also had a ct scan too.
and then i got another mri when i tore my meniscus.
